The landscaping and outdoor seating arrangements were very impressive.The interior of the hotel was detailed with top level finishes throughout! Great decor throughout.Absolutely great potential for an extraordinary hotel. While The Lake House on Canandaigua has long been a fixture in the small lake town of the same name for decades, it looks and feels worlds away from the original destination that stood in its place. Locals will remember the destination first opened in the 1970s, long home to the storied Sand Bar, a favorite spot for grabbing a hot dog or hamburger after a day on the water.

I loved the scent of the body wash so much I actually bought a bottle at the spa to take home with me. I absolutely loved our bathroom at the Lake House on Canandaigua. Of course they also had Nespresso machines which meant each morning started off with a great cup of coffee. The Lake House on Canandaigua uses a filtered water system where they have still and sparkling water available on each floor and you can refill the bottles as you please. One of my favourite features of the rooms were the reusable water bottles. During our stay at the Lake House on Canandaigua we stayed in one of their beautiful Lake Queen Queen rooms.
